BJP tribal leader Mohan Charan Majhi sworn in as Odisha's new Chief Minister in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and former CM Naveen Patnaik.

This marks a significant political shift as Majhi becomes the state's first BJP Chief Minister. The oath ceremony, held at Janata Maidan in Bhubaneswar, witnessed the induction of deputy CMs KV Singh Deo and Pravati Parida, along with several other ministers.

Majhi expressed determination to kickstart governance initiatives within the first 100 days, aligning with BJP's manifesto promises. This development follows BJP's remarkable victory in the recent Assembly elections, ending BJD's 24-year-long reign with a significant majority.
