Businessman Sunjay Kapur, known for his previous marriage to Bollywood actor Karisma Kapoor, passed away at the age of 53 after suffering a heart attack. According to sources cited by India Today, the incident took place during a polo match.

At the time of his passing, Sunjay was married to Priya Sachdev.

Author and columnist Suhel Seth took to X (formerly Twitter) to confirm Sunjay’s demise and shared his sorrow over the sudden loss.

Interestingly, Sunjay’s final post on social media was about the Air India plane crash that occurred in Ahmedabad on June 12, the same day he died.

Sunjay and Karisma tied the knot in 2003, but the marriage faced challenges and eventually ended in a bitter separation in 2014. The two have two children together — daughter Samaira and son Kiaan.
