Bengaluru Police's Central Crime Branch has summoned 86 individuals who tested positive for drug use at a recent busted rave party
27-05-2024The Central Crime Branch (CCB) of Bengaluru Police has summoned 86 individuals who tested positive for drug use at a recently busted rave party. These individuals are required to report for questioning on Monday.
The CCB has indicated that if any of the summoned individuals fail to appear, they will issue further notices.
Among those testing positive for narcotics is Telugu actor Hema, who was present at the party on May 20.
Additionally, the CCB is set to interrogate five arrested suspects to determine the source of the narcotics, the organizers of the event, and the identities of all involved.
The primary goal is to dismantle the drug syndicate by identifying the main drug suppliers.
The rave party, held at a farmhouse near Electronic City, was raided on May 20. Authorities seized 17 MDMA pills and some cocaine.
Disguised as a birthday celebration, the party extended past 2 am and was attended by over 100 people, including 25 women, from Andhra Pradesh and Bengaluru.
The farmhouse, owned by Gopala Reddy of Con Card, was used for the event organized by a Hyderabad resident named Vasu.
On May 22, Telugu actor Aashi Roy posted a video on social media stating she was unaware of the illicit activities, believing it to be just a birthday party.
The investigation continues as the CCB aims to fully expose and dismantle the drug syndicate responsible.
