The Delhi Police has submitted a fresh supplementary chargesheet in the Shraddha Walkar murder case, providing comprehensive digital and forensic evidence to support the ongoing investigation. The chargesheet, comprising over 3,000 pages, has been presented before Metropolitan Magistrate Aviral Shukla at the Saket court.

Key digital evidence includes the Google location and search history of the accused, Aaftab Poonawala, which allegedly aligns with his movements to locations where he purportedly disposed of Shraddha’s body parts. Additionally, details about Shraddha’s phone and its location history are included, highlighting how this information reportedly vanished following Poonawala's interrogation.

This supplementary chargesheet comes a year after a Delhi court framed murder charges against Aftab Poonawala in the Shraddha Walkar case, also charging him for evidence tampering. The court had found sufficient evidence to charge him under IPC Sections 302 (murder) and 201 (destruction of evidence). Poonawala has pleaded not guilty and opted for a trial.

Shraddha Walkar, who was reportedly in a live-in relationship with Poonawala, was allegedly strangled by him on May 18, 2022. Subsequently, Poonawala dismembered her body, storing the parts in a refrigerator before disposing of them at various locations across Delhi to avoid detection.
