Amid growing geopolitical tensions in the Gulf involving the United States, Israel and Iran, several attractions and hospitality businesses in Dubai have launched limited-time offers to encourage residents and tourists to enjoy leisure activities.

With schools beginning their spring holidays earlier than usual, these initiatives are aimed at giving families more options to spend time together while easing the stress created by regional uncertainty.

Free access to Atlantis attractions

One of the biggest promotions comes from Atlantis The Palm, which has temporarily opened two of its flagship attractions to the public at no cost.

Visitors can access Aquaventure World and The Lost Chambers Aquarium free of charge between March 10 and March 22.

According to reports, guests can book up to four complimentary tickets in a single reservation. Normally, entry tickets to the waterpark cost about 175 UAE dirhams.

The attraction said the offer was introduced to allow residents and tourists to relax and enjoy a day out during the school break. However, visitors must reserve tickets online beforehand as walk-in access is not permitted.

Free entry at Dubai Miracle Garden

Another popular destination, Dubai Miracle Garden, is also allowing UAE residents to visit without paying an entrance fee for a limited period.

From March 15 to March 31, residents can enter the garden by simply showing a valid Emirates ID.

The attraction is known for its elaborate floral displays and themed installations created from more than 150 million flowers spread across about 72,000 square metres.

Special promotions at interactive attractions

The entertainment venue House of Hype has introduced a creative promotion as part of the initiative.

From March 15 to March 22, the first 50 visitors each day can enter for free if they arrive wearing outfits featuring the colours of the UAE flag. Inside, the venue offers over 25 interactive zones and immersive experiences.

Meanwhile, Jungle Bay Waterpark at Destination Mina Seyahi is distributing a limited number of complimentary family passes valid until March 31. These tickets must also be booked in advance.

Hotels announce staycation deals

Hotels across Dubai are also joining the effort by launching discounted staycation packages.

Jumeirah Hotels & Resorts has introduced special offers at several of its properties that include dining experiences, family activities and spa deals such as two-for-one treatments.

Another property, LEVA Hotel, is offering a 20 per cent discount on room bookings until the upcoming Eid al‑Fitr holiday.

Community spirit during uncertain times

These initiatives highlight how businesses in the United Arab Emirates often respond during periods of uncertainty by offering community-focused gestures.

By providing free access and discounted experiences, the hospitality and entertainment sectors hope to give residents and visitors affordable opportunities to relax while tensions remain high in the region.
