17-07-2024In the early hours of Wednesday, a fire erupted at the renowned Gulati restaurant on Pandara Road near India Gate in Delhi, officials from the Delhi Fire Services (DFS) reported. Fortunately, no injuries were reported in the incident.
The fire began at 2:48 am in the restaurant's seating area and quickly spread to the first floor, according to a DFS official. Four fire tenders were deployed, and the blaze was brought under control within an hour. While some furniture and other items were damaged, there were no casualties.
Preliminary investigations by the police suggest that a short circuit might have caused the fire. A thorough probe is currently underway to determine the exact cause.
