Anant Ambani, son of Mukesh Ambani, India's wealthiest business tycoon, is set to marry Radhika Merchant, daughter of businessman Viren Merchant, on July 12. The event is already being dubbed the "wedding of the year."
The Ambani family, with a net worth exceeding $113 billion as of March 2024, is known for their lavish and opulent events that combine luxury with a deep respect for their Gujarati heritage.
Their events are celebrated for their star-studded guest lists, stunning decorations, and attention to detail, ensuring memorable experiences.
Exclusive information from India Today reveals that the Ambani family has planned a grand flash mob of 60 dancers for the 'Shubh Aashirward' ceremony on July 13, the day after the wedding.
The ceremony promises to be a blend of tradition, modernity, and spectacular entertainment. A source close to the Ambani family shared that the flash mob will perform to a 'shloka', choreographed by the renowned Vaibhavi Merchant.
"The Ambanis' incorporation of a flash mob into their wedding festivities adds a contemporary twist to traditional celebrations. Vaibhavi Merchant has been brought in to choreograph a captivating routine for the dancers," the source stated.
The flash mob, comprising 60 highly skilled dancers, will accompany Radhika Merchant and Anant Ambani into the ceremony. The dancers have been rehearsing diligently to ensure a flawless performance, which will be strategically timed to create a lasting impact during the celebrations.
Pre-wedding festivities for Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant began with the extravagant 'Mameru' ceremony at their Mumbai residence, Antilia, on July 3.
In a gesture of generosity, Nita and Mukesh Ambani organized a mass wedding for over 50 underprivileged couples from Maharashtra's Palghar on July 2, ahead of their son's nuptials.
This wedding is expected to be a spectacular affair, reflecting the Ambani family's penchant for grandeur and their commitment to blending tradition with modernity.
