Under a blaze of flashbulbs and eager onlookers, Donald Trump Jr wrapped up an action-packed, week-long tour across three Indian cities — a whirlwind that blended heritage walks, VIP hospitality, wildlife encounters and a dash of Bollywood glamour that has lit up social media feeds.

The American businessman and son of US President Donald Trump began his India itinerary last Thursday with a visit to the Taj Mahal in Agra. Arriving with a large international delegation of 126 guests representing 40 nations, he spent close to an hour at the iconic monument.

Escorted through the complex under tight security, Trump Jr posed for an extended series of photographs, including the classic shot at the famous Diana bench.

According to a senior Archaeological Survey of India official, he showed keen curiosity, posing “several detailed questions” about the Taj’s history, engineering and symbolism. Calling the monument “one of humanity’s finest creations,” he departed for Gujarat soon after.

In Jamnagar, the Ambani family hosted him as part of a string of private engagements. His first stop was Vantara — Reliance’s massive animal rescue, rehabilitation and conservation initiative led by Anant Ambani.

Led through vast enclosures and naturalistic habitats housing elephants, big cats and other wildlife, Trump Jr appeared visibly impressed. In a video recorded with Anant Ambani, he described the project as “mind-blowing” and joked that the quality of life for the rescued animals was “better than mine.”

He also visited a cluster of temples near the Vantara site and offered prayers at a Ganpati shrine, drawing curious locals. At one of the temples, visitors witnessed him attempting dandiya alongside Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant — a clip that quickly spread across social platforms.

On Friday, Trump Jr and his girlfriend Bettina Anderson flew to Udaipur for the grand wedding celebrations of industrialist Netra Mantena and tech founder Vamsi Gadiraju. The city’s royal properties hosted a glittering series of events attended by top names from business and entertainment.

During the Bollywood-themed sangeet on Friday night, Trump Jr and Anderson joined Ranveer Singh on stage as he danced to the hit song What Jhumka? from Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. Videos of the couple — Anderson in a white-and-gold lehenga and Trump Jr in a blue sequined sherwani — being pulled into the spotlight by Ranveer went viral.

Earlier in the day, Trump Jr met Dr Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar, descendant of Maharana Pratap, at Udaipur’s City Palace. The royal welcomed the couple over high tea and presented traditional Mewar insignias, which Trump Jr later called “a truly memorable honour.”

For the mehendi function on Saturday, the duo appeared in coordinated outfits and posed for photographs.

At the main wedding ceremony held at the historic Jagmandir Palace in the middle of Lake Pichola, Trump Jr chose an ivory two-piece suit while Anderson wore a pastel blue-mint lehenga. Later in the evening, he was spotted conversing with RRR star Ram Charan, dressed in a classic black suit.

After the lavish celebrations, Trump Jr is expected to return to Gujarat, amid buzz that he may meet Adani Group chairman Gautam Adani during the remainder of his India visit.
