A full emergency was declared at Thiruvananthapuram Airport in Kerala on Thursday following a bomb threat directed at Air India Flight 657 from Mumbai. The flight, carrying 135 passengers and crew members, landed at around 8 a.m. and was promptly moved to an isolation bay where all passengers were safely evacuated.
The bomb threat was reported by the Air India pilot as the plane neared Thiruvananthapuram. Authorities are currently conducting a thorough inspection of the aircraft and have initiated an investigation to determine the source of the threat.
