India all-rounder Hardik Pandya has announced his separation from wife Natasa Stankovic after four years of being together. The announcement came on Thursday, 18 July, following months of speculation. Pandya shared the news via his Instagram account in a joint statement with Natasa.

Rumors about their separation began during the 2024 season of the Indian Premier League, when a Reddit post noted that Natasa had removed their individual photos from her Instagram account. Additionally, Natasa had removed Pandya's name from her profile at that time.

In their statement, the couple revealed that the decision to part ways was mutual and that they would co-parent their son, Agastya.

"After 4 years of being together, Natasa and I have decided to mutually part ways. We tried our best together and gave it our all, and we believe this is in the best interest for both of us. This was a tough decision for us to make, given the joy, mutual respect, and companionship we enjoyed together and as we grew a family," Hardik shared on Instagram.

He added, "We are blessed with Agastya, who will continue to be at the center of both our lives, and we will co-parent to ensure that we give him everything that we can for his happiness."

Hardik concluded the statement by requesting privacy during this difficult and sensitive time.

Hardik and Natasa got married on May 31, 2020, and welcomed their son Agastya on July 30 of the same year. The couple renewed their vows in a ceremony in Udaipur in February 2023, nearly three years after their marriage. The intimate affair, held on Valentine’s Day, was attended by close friends and family and featured Christian wedding rituals with a white theme.

After the T20 World Cup 2024, Pandya revealed that he had been facing tough times but had not publicly discussed his troubles.

On Thursday, Pandya was also dropped from the Indian leadership group for the upcoming tour of Sri Lanka, where India will play three T20Is and three ODIs.
