HDFC Bank has informed its customers about an upcoming system upgrade scheduled for Saturday, July 13, 2024, aimed at enhancing performance and capacity to manage higher traffic. The upgrade will commence at 3:00 AM and conclude by 4:30 PM on the same day.

To minimize inconvenience, HDFC Bank has chosen a second Saturday, a bank holiday, for the upgrade. During this period, several critical services will be temporarily unavailable. NetBanking and MobileBanking services will not be accessible from 3:00 AM to 4:30 PM, affecting transactions and account management online.

However, customers can continue to withdraw cash from ATMs using HDFC Bank debit and credit cards, with some restrictions on limits. Debit and credit cards can also be used for shopping, online purchases, and merchant payments, although account updates may be delayed until after the upgrade.

Specifically, UPI services will be affected during two windows: from 3:00 AM to 3:45 AM and from 9:30 AM to 12:45 PM. Customers are advised to plan their banking activities accordingly, including withdrawing sufficient funds before 7:30 PM on Friday, July 12, 2024, and scheduling fund transfers and credit card payments in advance to avoid any disruption.
