Hindu Temple in Edmonton Vandalised, VHP Canada Demands Government Action
A Hindu temple in Edmonton was defaced with graffiti, prompting VHP Canada to call for decisive action against rising extremist ideologies
23-07-2024A Hindu temple in Edmonton, Canada, was vandalised with graffiti, prompting condemnation from the Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) in Canada.
The VHP Canada expressed its strong disapproval in a post on X, stating, "VHP Canada strongly denounces Hinduphobic graffiti & vandalism at BAPS Mandir in Edmonton. We urge all levels of Government in Canada to act decisively against the growing extremist ideology propelling hate against the peace-loving Hindu community in our country."
This incident is part of a troubling pattern, as it is not the first time a temple has been defaced with graffiti by Khalistani separatists. Anti-India activities by Khalistan supporters have escalated following the death of Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar.
