Indian Railways has attained a remarkable distinction in the Limca Book of Records for hosting the largest public service event simultaneously at numerous locations. The event, held on February 26, 2024, drew an impressive gathering of 40,19,516 participants spread across 2,140 venues.

Organized by the Ministry of Railways, the event was dedicated to inaugurating road over/under railway bridges and laying foundation stones for new railway stations. Prime Minister Narendra Modi graced the occasion, underscoring its significance in the country's infrastructure development.

The recognition in the Limca Book of Records highlights Indian Railways' exceptional effort and meticulous planning to ensure the success of such a monumental event.
