Actor Janhvi Kapoor was admitted to the hospital today, July 18, after experiencing severe weakness over the past few days. The star, set to appear in Sudhanshu Saria's upcoming film 'Ulajh', is now in stable condition and is expected to be discharged soon.

According to sources close to Kapoor, she had been suffering from food poisoning, which led to her condition deteriorating. Her family decided to hospitalize her immediately, and she is anticipated to leave the hospital within the next day or two.

Janhvi Kapoor's next project, 'Ulajh', sees her portraying a young diplomat from a distinguished family of patriots. The character becomes embroiled in a dangerous conspiracy while stationed in a crucial career position. As she navigates through the complexities of hidden adversaries and threats, she must protect her family's legacy and manage risks that could alter her life and career trajectory.

Directed by Sudhanshu Saria, 'Ulajh' is written by Parveez Shaikh and Sudhanshu Saria, with dialogues penned by Atika Chauhan. The film is set to hit theaters on August 2.
