US Vice President JD Vance wrapped up a lively day in Agra with a picture-perfect memory, posting a charming family photo taken in front of the iconic Taj Mahal. The candid snapshot, shared on X, featured Vance with his wife, Usha Vance, and their three children, capturing both the splendor of the monument and the realities of sightseeing with little ones under the blazing sun.

"With three little kids staring into the sun, this was actually the best photo we got at the Taj Mahal today," Vance wrote with a touch of humor in the caption.

The Vance family embraced the Indian summer in stylish and comfortable outfits. JD Vance chose a smart-casual look with a navy blazer, light blue shirt, and beige pants, while Usha looked graceful in a striped midi dress. Their sons, Ewan and Vivek, wore traditional printed bandhgala kurtas with pyjamas, and daughter Mirabel kept cool in a striped top and flared trousers.

Their visit to Agra followed a series of memorable stops across India. In Delhi, the family toured the Akshardham Temple and met with Prime Minister Narendra Modi at his residence—an experience that left a lasting impression, especially on the children.

At a public event in Jaipur, JD Vance shared a light moment, recounting how their 7-year-old son Ewan was so moved by the Prime Minister’s hospitality that he said, "Dad, I think I can live in India." But after a warm trek through Amber Fort, Ewan reconsidered, suggesting perhaps England would be more to his liking.

Their connection with PM Modi began earlier this year during the AI Action Summit in Paris, where the Prime Minister surprised the family by joining in their son Vivek’s fifth birthday celebration. JD Vance expressed his gratitude for the thoughtful gesture, recalling how Modi brought a gift for the young boy and made time for the family amid a packed diplomatic schedule.

Vance noted that he and Usha were genuinely touched by the Prime Minister’s kindness and warmth, adding that the visit helped build a strong personal bond and paved the way for a closer relationship between the two countries.
