Jeet Adani and Diva Jaimin Shah to Marry in a Traditional Ceremony on February 7
Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani's son, Jeet Adani, is set to tie the knot with Diva Jaimin Shah in Ahmedabad, with a focus on tradition and philanthropy
05-02-2025Jeet Adani, son of Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani, is all set to marry Diva Jaimin Shah on Friday, February 7, in a simple yet traditional ceremony in Ahmedabad. The couple, who got engaged in March 2023, have dedicated their wedding to meaningful social causes, blending tradition with philanthropy.
Diva Jaimin Shah is the daughter of diamond merchant Jaimin Shah, co-owner of C. Dinesh & Co. Private Limited, a well-known diamond manufacturing firm with operations in Mumbai and Surat. The company, founded in 1976 by Dinesh Shah and Chinu Doshi, has earned a strong reputation in the industry.
Jeet Adani, who joined the Adani Group in 2019 after attending the University of Pennsylvania’s School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, has played a key role in the group's financial strategies, capital markets, and risk governance policies. He currently leads Adani Airports and Adani Digital Labs.
Gautam Adani had earlier emphasized that Jeet’s wedding would be "very simple and with fully traditional ways." However, the celebrations are also marked by a strong commitment to social causes.
As part of their wedding, Jeet and Diva have launched 'Mangal Seva,' a philanthropic initiative aimed at supporting newly married women with disabilities. Under this initiative, 500 women will receive financial assistance of ₹10 lakh each.
Expressing his pride, Gautam Adani shared, "As a father, this 'Mangal Seva' is a matter of immense satisfaction and good fortune for me."
Ahead of the wedding, Jeet met 21 newly married women with disabilities and their husbands to officially launch the initiative. He expressed his hope that this sacred effort would bring happiness and dignity to many families.
The wedding will also feature a collaboration with renowned fashion designer Manish Malhotra, who has partnered with the NGO Family of Disabled (FOD) to create custom shawls for the couple. The NGO has also contributed hand-painted wedding essentials, such as glassware, plates, and accessories. Digital designs by Chennai-based Kai Rassi will complement the hand-crafted artistry.
Inspired by his visit to Mitti Cafe, a social enterprise employing individuals with disabilities, Jeet suggested a special 'Divyang Special' episode of Shark Tank India focusing on entrepreneurs with disabilities and those working to support them.
Reflecting on his experience at the cafe, Jeet said, "When I visited Mitti Cafe at Mumbai International Airport, the smile, spark, and compassion of their staff, despite the hardships they've faced, moved me deeply."
The Adani Group has also been actively supporting initiatives for people with disabilities. Their 'Green Talks' program has provided a platform for individuals to share inspiring life stories.
In addition, the Adani Foundation has extended support to Jammu and Kashmir’s para-cricketer Amir Hussain Lone by funding an indoor cricket academy in his hometown of Waghama-Bijbehara, Anantnag. With a contribution of ₹67.6 lakh, the academy will help underprivileged children pursue their dreams in sports.
With a focus on tradition, philanthropy, and empowerment, Jeet Adani and Diva Jaimin Shah’s wedding is set to be a celebration that goes beyond personal joy, making a lasting impact on society.
