Billionaire industrialist and Adani Group chairman Gautam Adani’s youngest son, Jeet Adani, tied the knot with Diva Jaimin Shah in a private wedding ceremony on Friday. The event, attended by close family members and friends, took place in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
Gautam Adani shared the joyous news on social media platform X, posting pictures from the wedding. In his heartfelt message, he wrote, "With the blessings of the Almighty, Jeet and Diva have entered the sacred bond of marriage today. The wedding took place in Ahmedabad with traditional rituals and Shubh Mangal Bhaav among loved ones. Since it was a small and private function, we couldn’t invite all our well-wishers, for which I sincerely apologize." He further sought blessings and love for the newlyweds.
Traditional Jain-Gujarati Wedding in Ahmedabad
Jeet Adani and Diva Jaimin Shah, daughter of Gujarat-based diamond merchant Jaimin Shah, got engaged on March 12, 2023, in a private ceremony in Ahmedabad. Their wedding took place at Shantigram, the Adani township in Ahmedabad, with rituals beginning at 2 p.m. The celebrations followed traditional Jain and Gujarati customs.
Ahead of their wedding, the couple enjoyed pre-wedding festivities, including a vibrant bhangra night on February 6. Gurdeep Mehndi, son of renowned singer Daler Mehndi, delivered an electrifying performance, adding to the festive spirit.
Jeet Adani’s Role in the Adani Group
Jeet Adani, who joined the Adani Group in 2019, holds key responsibilities within the conglomerate. A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania’s School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, he currently oversees Adani Airports and Adani Digital Labs.
Last month, during his visit to the Maha Kumbh Mela, Gautam Adani had shared that the wedding would be a "simple and traditional" ceremony rather than a star-studded event, staying true to family values.
The newlyweds have now embarked on their journey together, with warm wishes pouring in from across the business and social spheres.
