Kangana Ranaut Defends Raveena Tandon After Road Rage Incident
Kangana Ranaut has voiced her support for Raveena Tandon following a widely circulated video showing Tandon in a heated road rage altercation
03-06-2024Kangana Ranaut has expressed strong support for Raveena Tandon after a video of Tandon involved in a road rage confrontation went viral. Ranaut condemned the aggressive behavior of the women involved in the incident and called for action against such conduct.
On her Instagram story, Kangana wrote, "What happened to Raveena Tandon ji is absolutely alarming. Had there been 5-6 more people in the opposite group she would have been lynched. We condemn such road rage outbursts. Those people must be reprimanded. They must not get away with such violent and poisonous behavior."
In the viral clip, Raveena is seen pleading with someone 'not to hit', while another woman and a man accuse her and her staff of assault. However, CCTV footage later disproved the claim that Raveena's car hit the woman.
Mumbai police clarified that the allegations against Raveena were "false". The 'Mohra' actress shared the police statement on her social media.
DCP Raj Tilak Roshan told IndiaToday.in that no case was filed: "Raveena (Tandon) was coming home. Her car was reversing. The lady who walked past got mad at her driver and said drive carefully. The car did not touch the lady, but a verbal spat ensued. Raveena got out and got into an argument. We don't have written complaints from either party, so there is no case."
On the professional front, Raveena Tandon's latest appearance was in the film 'Patna Shukla'.
