This time, the festivities are aboard a luxurious cruise traveling from Italy to the South of France, aptly named “La Vite E Un Viaggio,” which translates to “life is a journey” in Italian.

Known for their extravagant events, the Ambani family is sparing no expense for this pre-wedding bash. International pop sensations Katy Perry and Shakira are reportedly headlining the entertainment for the couple's cruise celebration.

According to British tabloid The Sun, Katy Perry is being paid a staggering amount to perform live at the pre-wedding cruise party. An insider close to the Ambani family disclosed that Perry will be the star performer during the five-hour-long event on the cruise.

“They have invited 800 guests who are enjoying a space-themed cruise around Europe, with stops in Barcelona and Genoa. The cruise will arrive in Cannes on Friday for the main celebration, which will be held at a £40 million estate,” the source revealed to The Sun.

“The party will last just five hours, but Katy Perry will headline, with a DJ also flown in to provide top-tier entertainment. After the party, guests will witness a spectacular fireworks display from a fleet of ships anchored in the Bay of Cannes. When the Ambanis say there’s been no expense spared, they mean it,” the insider added.

Colombian superstar Shakira will also be performing her biggest hits at the pre-wedding festivities. According to Hola, she is reportedly charging between ₹10 crore and ₹15 crore for her performance.

This extravagant event follows the Ambani family's tradition of hosting star-studded gatherings. Earlier this January, pop icon Rihanna set the bar high by performing at the couple’s first pre-wedding bash in Jamnagar, earning a whopping $9 million.

As the countdown to their wedding continues, Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant are set to tie the knot on July 12 in Mumbai. The wedding ceremony will follow traditional Hindu Vedic rituals and will take place at the Jio World Convention Centre in the Bandra-Kurla Complex (BKC).
