Chennai police have arrested a 45-year-old man, Rakesh Sharma, for allegedly harassing a female passenger on an IndiGo flight from Jaipur to Chennai. The incident took place on October 9 when the accused, who was seated behind the woman, is said to have inappropriately touched her during the flight.

The woman, seated by the window, immediately reported the incident to the cabin crew. Upon landing in Chennai, Sharma was detained by authorities following the woman's formal complaint.

Sharma, an employee of a tile company, had been traveling for work. IndiGo has not yet released a statement regarding the incident.
