A 20-year-old man from Dombivli, Thane, was arrested on Sunday after a video of him allegedly urinating into a plastic bag and continuing to sell fruits without washing his hands went viral on social media.

The incident reportedly occurred at a market in the Nilje area of Dombivli, and the man has been identified as Ali Khan, according to Manpada Police.

Following the circulation of the video, angry locals stormed the market, causing damage in protest. Authorities quickly arrived on the scene, and the situation was brought under control.

Khan has been charged under several sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, including Section 271 (negligent act likely to spread infection dangerous to life), Section 272 (malignant act likely to spread infection dangerous to life), and Section 296 (obscenity). A further investigation into the incident is underway.
