A large fire erupted near Sector 128 in Noida on Thursday evening, originating from a garbage dump near the Greater Noida Expressway before spreading to nearby forested areas.

Fire brigades and police teams were swiftly deployed to the scene to control the blaze. Several Noida residents shared videos and images on social media, showing flames engulfing trees. According to local reports, the fire was eventually brought under control.

The incident occurred in an area close to multiple residential complexes, including Jaypee Wishtown, causing panic among residents. District authorities and police officials were present at the site to oversee firefighting operations and assess any potential risks.

A social media user posted an update indicating that the intensity of the flames had reduced. However, officials have yet to release a formal statement on the cause of the fire or any damages incurred.

This incident follows a recent fire outbreak in Kerala, where a blaze at an automobile service center in Kochi required immediate intervention from fire tenders. Authorities ensured the flames were doused before they could cause further damage.

Firefighters in Noida continued monitoring the area to prevent any reignition and ensure public safety.
