Rupert Murdoch, the renowned media tycoon, exchanged vows with his partner, Elena Zhukova, in a private ceremony held at his farmhouse in California. The marriage marks Murdoch's fifth union at the age of 93.

Reports by news agency AFP reveal that Zhukova, a retired biologist, entered into matrimony with Murdoch, sparking curiosity after his engagement to former police officer Ann Lesley Smith ended abruptly in April 2023.

Zhukova, originally from Russia, immigrated to the United States and pursued a career as a molecular biologist before retiring.

Murdoch, a father of six, embarked on his marital journey with Australian flight attendant Patricia Booker, which ended in divorce in the late 1960s. His second marriage to Anna Torv, a newspaper reporter, spanned over three decades before their separation in 1999. The media magnate's third union, with Wendi Deng, concluded in 2013.

His fourth marriage saw him tied to model Jerry Hall, the longtime partner of Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger.

With a media empire encompassing The Wall Street Journal, Fox News, and various influential platforms, Murdoch boasts a net worth exceeding $20 billion, as estimated by Forbes.

Having transitioned to an emeritus role, Murdoch handed over the reins of his global media empire to his son Lachlan in November, signifying a new chapter in his illustrious career.
