Prime Minister Narendra Modi kicked off his speech to BJP workers with a resounding "Jai Jagannath," celebrating the party's triumph in the Odisha Assembly elections. The BJP secured 50 seats and was leading in 28 others, out of the 147-member Odisha Assembly, marking a significant victory.

PM Modi declared, "The BJP is all set to form a government in Odisha, and in the Lok Sabha election, Odisha has performed splendidly. For the first time, the land of Lord Jagannath will have a BJP Chief Minister."

In the Lok Sabha polls, the BJP secured nine seats and was leading in 10 others, out of the 21 seats in Odisha. Naveen Patnaik's BJD led in one, and the Congress secured one seat, as per the results by 9:30 pm.

PM Modi expressed his gratitude to the public for electing the NDA to a third term in Parliament. "Today, it's confirmed that the NDA will form a government for the third consecutive time. We are thankful to the people," he said.

The NDA was poised to win 290 seats by 9 pm, with 272 being the minimum required for forming a government.

Speaking to party workers at the BJP's Delhi headquarters, PM Modi highlighted the significance of the mandate. "Since 1962, this is the first time a government has been re-elected for a third term after completing two full tenures," he noted.

PM Modi praised the party's electoral success in the Assembly and Lok Sabha elections. "The BJP has achieved major victories in Arunachal Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Odisha, and Sikkim, effectively wiping out the Congress in these states," he said.

He also acknowledged the party's breakthrough in Kerala, stating, "The BJP has won a seat in Kerala, where our party workers have made significant sacrifices."
