24-08-2024A private helicopter en route from Mumbai's Juhu to Hyderabad crashed near Paud village in Pune district. The AW 139 helicopter, operated by private aviation company Global Vectra, was carrying four passengers at the time of the accident.
A video captured the dramatic moment the helicopter descended rapidly before crashing.
Pankaj Deshmukh, Superintendent of Police for Pune Rural, confirmed that one of the injured, Anand Captain, has been hospitalized for treatment. The other three passengers, Deer Bhatia, Amardeep Singh, and SP Ram, are reported to be in stable condition.
An investigation into the cause of the crash is currently underway.
