23-05-2024Authorities raided a rave party on the outskirts of Bengaluru where at least 86 attendees, including two Telugu actors, tested positive for drug use, sparking controversy over rampant substance abuse among participants.
Out of the 103 attendees, 59 men and 27 women tested positive for drugs like MDMA, cocaine, and hydro ganja, as revealed by post-party blood tests.
Bengaluru City Police Commissioner B Dayananda confirmed that the blood samples were sent to a laboratory for testing, and five individuals have been arrested so far.
The event, which reportedly cost Rs 50 lakh per day, took place between May 18 and May 19 and was organized by Vasu, a resident of Hyderabad.
An MLA pass from Andhra Pradesh was also discovered at the venue, along with several luxury cars.
