26-11-2024Reserve Bank of India (RBI) Governor Shaktikanta Das was admitted to Apollo Hospital in Chennai earlier today due to mild health discomfort caused by acidity.
In an official update, the RBI reassured that his condition is stable and there is no reason for concern. The central bank confirmed that Das is recovering well and is expected to be discharged within a few hours.
"RBI Governor Shaktikanta Das was admitted to Apollo Hospital in Chennai for observation after experiencing acidity. He is doing fine now and will be discharged in 2-3 hours," stated an RBI spokesperson.
