On July 16, Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal joyfully welcomed their first child, a baby girl. The couple shared the happy news in a joint statement on July 18. Richa had initially announced her pregnancy in February.

The couple's statement read, "We are tickled pink with joy to announce the arrival of a healthy baby girl on 16.07.24! Our families are overjoyed, and we thank our well-wishers for their love and blessings!” The message was signed with love by Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal.

Just a few days earlier, on July 14, Richa had posted on Instagram, sharing her anticipation for their baby's arrival. She mentioned feeling discomfort and occasional loneliness but emphasized that she never felt alone, sensing a presence listening in.

Richa and Ali tied the knot under the Special Marriage Act in 2020 and celebrated their union in 2022.

In their professional lives, Richa Chadha recently appeared in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Heeramandi: The Diamond Baazar,' streaming on Netflix, where she portrayed the character of Lajjo. Ali Fazal's latest work includes 'Mirzapur 3,' where he reprised his role as Guddu Pandit. The series premiered on Prime Video on July 5.
