Actors Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal have officially tied the knot after seven years of dating. The couple got married under the Special Marriage Act at Sonakshi's Mumbai home, finalizing their union with a civil ceremony.

Sonakshi, known for her performances in movies like Dabangg and Lootera, has been busy with pre-wedding rituals and celebrations at her residence. The wedding reception, set to be held at Bastian, Mumbai, promises to be a grand event, with many Bollywood celebrities, close friends, and family members expected to attend.

Earlier in the day, Zaheer Iqbal, who debuted in Bollywood with Notebook, was seen heading to Sonakshi's home for the civil marriage ceremony. Sonakshi's Heeramandi co-star Aditi Rao Hydari and her fiancé, actor Siddharth, along with actor Aayush Sharma and his wife Arpita Khan Sharma, were among the guests spotted at the event.

Zaheer's father, Iqbal Ratansi, confirmed that the marriage would not follow Hindu or Muslim rituals, emphasizing it was a civil marriage. He addressed rumors about Sonakshi converting to Islam, stating, "Sonakshi is not converting. Their union is about love, not religion. My blessings are with Zaheer and Sonakshi."
