An unusual incident at OP Jindal Global University in Sonipat, Haryana, has gone viral after a student was caught attempting to sneak a girl into the boys' hostel by hiding her inside a suitcase.

The bizarre episode was caught on camera and quickly spread across social media platforms. In the widely shared video, security personnel at the hostel can be seen unzipping a large suitcase while several students watch. Moments later, to everyone's astonishment, a girl emerges from the luggage.

How the security team detected the stunt remains unclear, but the attempt was swiftly foiled thanks to the alertness of the guards.

When contacted, the university’s Public Relations Officer (PRO) played down the event, saying the students involved were merely indulging in mischief. "They were just being playful. Because of our strict security measures, the student was caught before anything serious happened. No complaints have been made regarding this incident," the PRO said.

The university did not disclose whether any disciplinary steps would be taken against the student involved.

The episode has sparked both amusement and concern online, raising questions about campus security and student conduct, even as university officials maintain that the situation was under control and not a major issue.
