Indian cricketer Suryakumar Yadav and his wife, Devisha Shetty, have invested in a luxury residence at Shahrukhz by Danube, a 56-storey residential development in Dubai Maritime City. The project, named after Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, was launched in November 2025 by Danube Properties founder and chairman Rizwan Sajan.

Yadav announced the investment on Instagram, sharing a video featuring himself, Devisha and Sajan. He described the purchase as an investment in a premium waterfront property, which offers more than 40 amenities. The residence will be the couple's first home in Dubai.

Speaking about his decision, Yadav recalled visiting Dubai for the first time in 2014 for the Indian Premier League. He returned in 2020 and said he had since witnessed growing interest among Indians in the city.

The cricketer praised Dubai's lifestyle, safety and quality of life, saying he feels relaxed and happy whenever he visits. He added that the development's Shah Rukh Khan connection, interiors, construction quality and wellness facilities influenced his choice.

According to Sajan, the project will offer specialised wellness services, including hyperbaric therapy, red-light therapy and cryotherapy, alongside advanced medical facilities.

Gauri Khan Designs Luxury Penthouses

Interior designer Gauri Khan is designing the tower's penthouses, bringing a mansion-inspired aesthetic to apartment living. She recently shared details of the project on Instagram, highlighting the emphasis on comfort, functionality and premium finishes.

The penthouses feature bespoke furniture from Italian brands, spacious living areas, statement kitchens, walk-in wardrobes and expansive waterfront views. The design aims to combine upscale interiors with the practicality of a home.

With its waterfront location, wellness offerings and celebrity association, Shahrukhz by Danube is positioning itself as a premium residential address in Dubai.
