The anticipation is nearing its end as Team India, the newly crowned World Champions, makes its way back from Barbados. The triumphant squad is on a special chartered Air India flight, call sign 'AIC24WC,' symbolizing 'Air India Chartered flight' and 'T20 World Cup 2024' victory. This flight has become the most-tracked on the Flightradar website, reflecting the excitement of fans eager to welcome their heroes home.

The team is scheduled to touch down in Delhi at 6:00 AM on Thursday, July 4th. Following their arrival, the players have a busy itinerary. At 9:30 AM, they will visit Prime Minister Modi's residence. After the meeting, they will fly to Mumbai for a grand welcome. Upon landing at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Airport, they will head to the Wankhede Stadium, participating in a 1 km bus parade culminating in a presentation ceremony where captain Rohit Sharma will hand over the T20 World Cup trophy to BCCI secretary Jay Shah.

The decision to arrange a chartered flight was prompted by Hurricane Beryl, which had disrupted travel plans in the Caribbean. Team India, along with Indian journalists, were stranded in Barbados following their victory at Kensington Oval on June 29th. With the weather conditions improving, the special flight was organized to ensure their safe return.
