Team India's victorious T20 World Cup campaign awards Rs. 125 crore prize money to players, coaches, and support staff
08-07-2024India's triumphant T20 World Cup 2024 campaign has resulted in a substantial prize of Rs. 125 crore for Team India, which includes not only the 15 main players but also support staff, reserves, and other team members totaling 42 individuals.
Each player in the squad, even those who didn't play, will receive Rs. 5 crore, while head coach Rahul Dravid and his coaching staff, including Vikram Rathour, T Dilip, and Paras Mhambrey, will each receive Rs. 5 crore and Rs. 2.5 crore respectively.
Selection committee members, led by Ajit Agarkar, will be awarded Rs. 1 crore each. Support staff such as physiotherapists, throwdown specialists, masseurs, and the strength and conditioning coach will receive Rs. 2 crore each.
Additionally, reserve players like Rinku Singh, Shubman Gill, Avesh Khan, and Khaleel Ahmed will also be rewarded with Rs. 1 crore each by the BCCI.
