A large government-backed billboard unveiled in central Tehran has drawn global attention after portraying US President Donald Trump and members of his family above coffins covered with the American flag, underscoring the deepening confrontation between Iran and the United States.

According to The Telegraph, the installation in Palestine Square features the White House in the background alongside the slogan "Blood for Blood", a message widely interpreted as a warning linked to the deaths of senior Iranian leaders during the recent conflict.

The artwork reportedly includes Trump, First Lady Melania Trump, and his children—Ivanka Trump, Donald Trump Jr., Eric Trump, Tiffany Trump, and Barron Trump—positioned above the coffins in what is being viewed as one of the most personal visual attacks against the US President by Iranian state-linked messaging.

The display is believed to reference the killing of Iran's former Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, who was reportedly killed in US-Israeli strikes on February 28. The attacks also claimed the lives of several members of his family, including his daughter, son-in-law, daughter-in-law and infant granddaughter. Images of Khamenei and his relatives have featured prominently in public memorials and funeral ceremonies across Iran.

The new installation is the latest in a series of provocative murals that have appeared across Tehran in recent weeks.

Another prominent display in Enghelab Square reportedly depicts Trump inside an open coffin beneath the words "We Kill Trump", written in both Persian and English. Other public artworks have shown the US President in the crosshairs of a rifle, while one mural carried the phrase "Who's Next?" alongside the name of senior Republican senator Lindsey Graham, who died earlier this week.

Palestine Square has long served as a prominent site for state-sponsored political messaging, with murals frequently expressing opposition to the United States and Israel. The area often hosts gatherings by supporters of the Iranian government, who assemble carrying Palestinian and Hezbollah flags.

Many of Tehran's large public murals are designed by the Owj Arts and Media Organisation, an entity linked to Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). These displays typically promote the Islamic Republic's stance on regional affairs while rejecting negotiations with Washington and defending Iran's nuclear and missile programmes.

The latest billboard comes amid escalating rhetoric between Tehran and Washington. Trump has previously warned that any attempt on his life by Iran would invite an overwhelming US response.

Iranian officials and state-aligned media have, meanwhile, repeatedly vowed retaliation following Khamenei's death. His successor, Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei, has publicly declared that those responsible would face consequences and would not "die peacefully in their beds."
