Rapper Travis Scott was taken into custody early Thursday morning in Miami and booked at the Miami-Dade County Jail. According to CNN, Scott was arrested for disorderly intoxication and trespassing after allegedly causing a disturbance on a charter boat docked at Miami Beach Marina.

The incident unfolded around 12:44 am local time when Miami Beach Police responded to reports of a fight aboard the charter boat. Scott, known for his music career and controversial events like the Astroworld festival tragedy in 2021, reportedly refused to comply with the boat owner's requests to calm down and leave the premises despite being warned by officers.

Witnesses and police sources cited by WSVN News stated that Scott was visibly intoxicated, emitting a strong odor of alcohol. Despite being initially asked to depart, he purportedly continued to create disruptions, prompting his subsequent arrest at 4:35 am.

Following his detention, Scott was released on bond after posting bail of $500 for disorderly intoxication and $150 for trespassing. This incident comes amid ongoing legal matters related to the Astroworld festival, where Scott performed and faced criticism over crowd safety and organization, resulting in multiple casualties and injuries.

Investigations into the Astroworld tragedy are ongoing, with Scott not facing criminal charges but being named in various lawsuits concerning wrongful deaths associated with the event.
