Former U.S. President Donald Trump delivered a victorious speech before Congress, highlighting a series of decisive actions taken within the first six weeks of his return to office. His policies have significantly reshaped America's global standing, sparked trade conflicts with key allies, and led to major workforce reductions within the federal government.

"America is back," Trump proclaimed to an enthusiastic reception from his Republican supporters. "We are witnessing a historic revival, one that the world has never seen before. In just 43 days, we have accomplished more than others have in four years," he asserted.

Economic and Policy Priorities

Addressing the state of the U.S. economy, Trump underscored his commitment to providing swift relief to American families struggling with financial hardships. He blamed his predecessor for what he described as an economic crisis marked by high inflation and skyrocketing living costs.

"My top priority is to revive our economy and deliver immediate relief to working Americans. We inherited an economic disaster from the last administration, and I am working every day to reverse the damage," Trump stated.

He also defended his approach to trade, vowing to impose reciprocal tariffs on countries that levy high duties on American goods. Citing India’s high tariff rates as an example, he criticized global trade practices that he deemed unfair to the U.S.

"For years, other countries have imposed excessive tariffs on us, and now we are doing the same. India, China, the European Union, and several others have taken advantage of us for too long," he said.

Legal Challenges and Government Overhaul

Trump also took a moment to reflect on his legal battles, portraying himself as a victim of politically motivated attacks. He claimed to have overcome multiple legal challenges and accused the justice system of being weaponized against him.

"We have put an end to politically driven prosecutions. No longer will the government be used to attack opponents. Free speech has been restored, and I have officially declared English as the nation’s official language," he announced.

Diversity Policies and Gender Identity

The former president reaffirmed his administration's commitment to rolling back diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives across the federal government, private sector, and military.

"We have dismantled the oppressive DEI policies that prioritized race and gender over skill and competence. Hiring and promotions should be based on ability, not identity," he declared, citing a Supreme Court ruling that supported his stance.

Furthering his hardline position on social policies, Trump announced an executive order preventing transgender athletes from competing in women's sports, threatening to revoke federal funding from schools that do not comply.

"From this point forward, schools that allow biological males on girls’ teams will lose federal funding," he said.

He also reinforced a strict binary view of gender, stating, "The U.S. government now officially recognizes only two genders: male and female."

Border Security and Immigration

Trump took a strong stance on border security, emphasizing the actions taken under his administration to curb illegal immigration.

"On day one, I declared a national emergency at our southern border and deployed military forces to stop the influx. As a result, illegal crossings have reached historic lows," he said, contrasting his approach with that of Joe Biden, whom he criticized as "the worst president in U.S. history."

Legislation on Online Harassment

Trump also praised his wife, Melania Trump, for her role in advocating a new law that criminalizes the online distribution of intimate images, whether real or altered. He thanked lawmakers for passing the legislation and called the issue "a terrible injustice."

Adding a touch of humor, he quipped, "I might use that law myself, given the way I’m treated online. Nobody faces more attacks than I do."
