Former President Donald Trump has firmly declined Vice President Kamala Harris's request for a second debate ahead of the November 5 election, dismissing it as an admission of defeat.
Taking to his platform, Truth Social, Trump suggested that Harris's call for a rematch was driven by her poor performance in their recent debate. "Polls clearly show that I won the debate against Comrade Kamala Harris," Trump stated, adding, "There will be no third debate," referencing his previous face-offs with Harris and President Biden.
Despite Trump's claims, polls from major outlets like CNN and YouGov showed that a significant majority of viewers believed Harris won the debate. Harris's campaign also claimed a major fundraising boost, reportedly raising $47 million within 24 hours of the debate.
