A CCTV footage from a Gurugram society captured a disturbing incident where a dog walker was seen repeatedly hitting a pet golden retriever inside an elevator. The incident occurred on May 9 at the Orchid Gardens society in Sector 54.

Although the dog owner has not filed a police complaint yet, they have terminated the services of the dog walker after the video gained traction online.

The video, initially shared on social media by user Vidit Sharma, depicts the dog walker striking the golden retriever with a litter scoop inside the elevator. The footage sparked widespread outrage among netizens.

The precise motive behind the abuse remains unclear, but immediate action was taken, resulting in the removal of the dog walker from their duties.
