A young biker tragically lost his life in Gurugram's DLF Phase II after his motorcycle collided with an SUV that was driving on the wrong side of the road. The incident occurred on Sunday, September 15, involving a Mahindra 3XO, which was noted to have a BJP sticker on its bonnet.

The driver of the SUV, identified as Kuldeep Thakur, was arrested following the crash but has since been released on bail. The accident was captured on a GoPro camera worn by the victim's friend, Pradyuman, who was riding with him at the time. The footage shows the high-speed collision on Golf Course Road near Belvedere Park.

Pradyuman, who witnessed the incident, reported that Thakur was driving recklessly on the wrong side of the road. Despite the quick arrival of an ambulance, Akshat Garg, the victim, succumbed to his injuries shortly after.

In the video, Pradyuman is seen confronting Thakur and questioning his decision to drive in such a dangerous manner, while also urging bystanders to call the police.

The Gurugram Police have filed an FIR against Thakur, citing multiple violations under the Motor Vehicles Act, including negligence leading to death, rash driving, and causing significant property damage. Authorities have yet to confirm whether an alcohol or drug test was conducted on the driver.

Investigations into the incident are ongoing.
