28-09-2024Zomato’s Co-Founder and Chief People Officer, Akriti Chopra, has stepped down after a 13-year-long tenure at the food delivery giant. The company officially announced her resignation to the stock exchanges, effective immediately.
In an email addressed to Zomato CEO Deepinder Goyal, Chopra wrote, "Deepi, as discussed, I am formally submitting my resignation, effective today, September 27, 2024. These 13 years have been an incredibly enriching journey. Thank you for everything. I'm just a call away. Wishing you and Eternal all the very best."
Chopra joined Zomato in 2011 as a senior manager in finance and operations. Over the years, she played a key role in the company's growth, serving as Chief Financial Officer before transitioning to her most recent role as Chief People Officer.
