Arvind Kejriwal, the Chief Minister of Delhi, has been placed in CBI custody for three days in connection with the liquor policy case. The Rouse Avenue Court granted his custody to the investigative agency and made provisions for certain accommodations during his stay.

Kejriwal, who is currently in Tihar Jail due to a separate money laundering case, was formally arrested by the CBI on Wednesday. During his custody, he will be allowed to retain his spectacles, take prescribed medication, eat home-cooked meals, and have access to a copy of the Bhagavad Gita. Additionally, the court has permitted him one hour daily to meet with his wife and relatives.

Kejriwal, known for his nightly reading of the Gita before sleeping, expressed this routine to the court. He also requested a belt for his pants, citing embarrassment over having to hold them while being transported to Tihar Jail. However, the court declined this request.

Scheduled to appear before the court by 7 pm on June 29, Kejriwal's legal situation remains dynamic amidst ongoing investigations and judicial proceedings.
