The Delhi court has reserved its decision on a plea from Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal requesting his wife, Sunita Kejriwal, be allowed to attend his medical consultation via video conferencing. Kejriwal emphasized the need for her presence on humanitarian grounds.

Earlier, the court had ordered the formation of a medical board to assess Kejriwal's health. The court's ruling on this plea will be announced on July 6.

The Enforcement Directorate opposed the request, stating they would provide all necessary medical documents and that established protocols must be followed. Kejriwal's lawyer argued for his wife's presence as an attendant, highlighting the importance of health considerations.

In a related matter, the court extended Arvind Kejriwal's judicial custody until July 12 concerning the money laundering case linked to the scrapped excise policy. On Wednesday, Kejriwal also filed a bail petition in the Delhi High Court regarding the liquor policy case under investigation by the CBI. His petition claims that the CBI has been harassing him under the guise of their ongoing investigations. Kejriwal was arrested by the CBI on June 26 from Tihar Jail.
