Karanjawala & Co. announces Meghna Mishra as Senior Partner

With over two and a half decades of diverse legal experience, Meghna Mishra has been promoted to Senior Partner at her esteemed law firm, where she specialises in dispute resolution and champions various philanthropic causes

Meghna Mishra has two and half decades of extensive experience across diverse forums, having joined the bar in 1999. She joined the firm in 2001 and was elevated to becoming a Partner in 2012. She is the face of the firm's Delhi High Court practice.

She will be the fourth Senior Partner in the firm, joining Nandini Gore, Ruby Singh Ahuja and Mr. Sandeep Kapur. Mishra handles matters in a wide range of areas, including those relating to contractual disputes, real estate, commercial disputes, company law, inheritance, property disputes and matrimonial disputes.

She has also represented clients in high-stake and multi-layered arbitration proceedings. With a keen interest in the field of Intellectual Property Rights (IPR), she advises clients on the adoption, protection and enforcement of trademarks and copyrights. Mishra has provided expert legal counsel to prominent corporate entities, including DLF, TATA, Scindias, Go Air, Hindustan Times, Indiamart, Music Broadcast Limited, MapMyIndia, Adani, Sona BLW, among countless others.

Mishra has also been instrumental in managing the firm’s pro bono practice and philanthropic work, filing cases for persons in need, championing for women’s rights, inclusivity, equality, and disability rights.  Mishra has been acknowledged by Chambers and Partners Asia-Pacific and Chambers Global Guides for the last three years for her significant contributions to Dispute Resolution. She is also recognised by Benchmark Litigation. In addition, she was notably featured in 'The Phenomenal She,' a book celebrating 100 remarkable women from various fields, released on International Women’s Day in 2018. She was awarded the “Commercial Litigation Lawyer” of the Year award by Global 100 in 2018 and 2019 and chosen as the “Exclusive Litigation Expert in India” by Global Law Experts for the year 2017-18.

Asialaw Leading Lawyers recognized Meghna Mishra as ‘MarketLeading Lawyers’. She was also featured in the ICCA Law Firm Power List 2017.
